Miss Lucy had a baby

A rhyme which could be supplemented with pictures on the board, clapping, drama etc 

Miss Lucy had a baby

His name was Tiny Tim

She put him in the bath tub

To see if he could swim

He drank up all the water

He ate a bar of soap

He tried to eat the bath tub

But it couldn't go down his throat

Miss Lucy called the doctor 

Miss Lucy called the nurse 

Miss Lucy called the lady with an alligator purse 

"Mumps" said the doctor 

"Measles" said the nurse

"Nothing" said the lady with an alligator purse 

Miss Lucy thanked the doctor 

Miss Lucy thanked the nurse 

Miss Lucy hugged the lady with an alligator purse
